Jamie Lauzon is the founder of Alternative Mobility, a pioneering company committed to redefining the mobility industry. As a wheelchair user, athlete, and transportation professional with over 30 years of experience, Jamie brings an unparalleled combination of lived and professional expertise to the field of accessibility and adaptive mobility.
Paralyzed from the chest down as a result of a motor vehicle accident at the age of 16, Jamie has chosen to focus on possibilities rather than consequences. His determination has resulted in a fulfilled life with his wife Melissa, sons Cameron and Jacob and a successful career in the transportation industry.
In addition to founding Alternative Mobility, Jamie is a board member of the Handcycling Club of Canada, where he supports adaptive sports and fosters connections with athletes and manufacturers. In his spare time you'll find him hitting the links in an endless pursuit of making a hole in one.
Jamie’s work is fueled by his commitment to transforming the mobility landscape.
